It happened in Pearl Lagoon. We were three people, it was the middle of the day, and our homestay told us that it was safe to walk to the beach. Turns out it was not. In an unobservable curve, three young men with knives quickly circled us and took all of our money. As far as robberies go, this one was quite easy: Nobody was hurt, it was over quickly, and they only took our money (around 100$ in between the three of us) but left us our phones and co. Still, it left us shaken. Taking all safety precautions couldn’t stop this from happening.
